MY DREAMS FLOW
FROM THE LENS AND CRYSTALLIZE IN YOUR EYES
Suite in which we can see the reflection of
the lights and shadows from Tina Modotti’s
pictures. Like immersed in an old silver and
gelatin printing, we can perceive a slight
scent of violets, like the one Tina left in
her path when the Second World War brought
her from Italy to Mexico. Without getting to
know exactly about her espionage activities,
we center on the faces, the landscapes, the
flowers, and the clouds of a Mexico that
started to make cameras lens fall in love.
On her return from an unforgettable evening,
Tina said goodbye to life, amid the mystery,
looking at the stars through her car window
mist up by the early morning fog.
