That Carmen Mondragón was christened Nahui by the great painter Gerardo Murillo: Dr. Atl and she was his inspiring muse and owner of dreams. Nahui impressed everybody with her beauty, shocked with her first nudes published on the capital newspapers of beginnings of the past century and painted, wrote, sang and dreamed. Nahui was an artist exceeded by her imagination, who could not flee from her dreams and who lived in a constant dream in which she died without ever closing her eyes.
